DPMA Probe for Wind and Environmental Readings

Positector 6000 DPMA Probe

The Positector 6000 DPMA probe is the perfect solution for gathering ambient conditions in the field.  Along with all of the benefits of the DPM probe the DPMA can measure wind speed using the integral hot wire anemometer.  While in anemometer mode you can measure:

• Air Temperature
• Relative Humidity
• Wind Speed

The DPMA probe can display wind speeds from  0-20 m/s, 0-44 mph, 0-65 ft/s, 0-3900 ft/m, 0-72 km/h, or 0-38 knots.  These readings are held to an accuracy of +/- 3% full scale.  A new feature with this probe is that it will automatically adjust the screen based on gauge orientation.  With the DPMA you are able to read:

• Wind Speed
• Relative Humidity
• Air Temperature
• Surface Temperature
• Dew Point Temperature
• The Difference between Dew Point and Surface Temperature
• Wet Bulb Temperature (Advanced Memory bodies Only)

Another great feature is its capability to become a data logger.  Simply go to auto-log mode in the settings and set your time intervals.  The device will then take a set of readings every time your specified time limit is achieved!
