The Kestrel Drop is a compact data logger that is able to display readings directly to a mobile device over Bluetooth. All Drops are IP67 rated meaning that they can be submersed in up to 1 M of water for 30 minutes. This means that the drop can stand up to the elements and provide historical ambient information for when it isn’t feasible to be onsite.
The companion app is full of features to make viewing and managing the recorded data an easy task. A real time graphing function makes it so that historical temperature can be viewed at a glance. Flexible log options from 2 seconds to 12 hours make it so that you are never left without a reading. Other features such as a configurable reading screen and ability to generate reports make it so that whatever the application it is the perfect tool.
There are 2 main variants of the Kestrel Drop that KTA offers.
The Drop 2 can log temperature, relative humidity, dew point temperature, and the heat stress index.
The Drop 3 is able to log temperature, relative humidity, dew point temperature, heat stress index, station pressure, and the density altitude.
While no certification is performed by default KTA’s service team is able to add one if your use case requires it. Just make sure to add it with purchase!
