Positector 6000 SPGS Probe
The Positector SPGS probe will make gathering your surface profile readings faster than ever.  Since this gauge does not need to use the replica tape it is possible to take over 50 readings a minute.  The field replaceable tip is made of tungsten carbide so it can have a long life and maintain its accuracy. The main feature of the SPGS is the cable between the probe head and the body. This allows for more stable readings to be taken in areas where the surface is curved such as pipelines. Some other features include:
- HiLo alarm to know when measurements fall out of specification
- Automatic temperature compensation
- Continuous average, standard deviation, min/max thickness, and number of surface profile readings
The range of the SPG probe is 0-20 mils or 0-500 μm and tip is 60 degrees.  If you needed a higher mil range or 30 degree tip please give us a call for availability and pricing!
