Testex Training Surface
The Testex training surface is perfect for people who aren’t familiar with using replica tape. Â This 1.5 inch disk of phenolic material gives you a known roughness that you can carries a known roughness for you to practice using Replica Tape with. Â Simply stick the tape where the arrow points and use the included burnishing tool to compress the tape. Â Then use a micrometer (sold separately) to verify whether you are using to much or to little pressure. This disk allows you to keep testing until you feel confident that you can achieve accurate results in the field!
