Description

Proper and thorough preparation of concrete surfaces for subsequent floor coating installation is critical for long term performance, and key to any concrete restoration project. Project specifications frequently specify a Concrete Surface Profile (CSP) number that corresponds to the surface preparation method referenced in the International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI) Technical Guideline No. 310-2R-2013, “Selecting and Specifying Concrete Surface Preparation for Sealers, Coatings, Polymer Overlays, and Concrete Repair.” Assessing the roughness of concrete is made easy using this set of 10 rubber placards and the accompanying Guidelines produced by ICRI. The placards identified as CSP 1 through CSP 10 represent methods ranging from acid etching to handheld concrete breakers and high-pressure water jetting. The set of 10 placards and the Guideline is essential inspection equipment for engineers, project managers, inspectors, and floor coating manufacturers and installers. Simply visually compare the prepared concrete to the specified CSP No. to assess conformance. Each placard or “chip” measures 3.5” x 6”.

Set includes a set of 10 rubber placards and the 48-page ICRI Technical Guideline No. 310-2R-2013.
