KTA NOG (Needle Orifice Gage)
The KTA NOG measures the orifice size of an abrasive blast cleaning nozzle. This nozzle orifice gage can be used to monitor nozzle wear that can result in lower blast pressure, higher air volume demand (CFM), and/or decreased efficiency. Equipped with each NOG is a small black marker located in the cap, a leather carrying case with an additional pouch for a spare marker, and set of instructions for easy use of the gage. Also, the NOG has thoroughly etched laser markings for clear visibility and a larger handle for easy gripping with gloves on.
Once inserted through the back end of the blast nozzle and twisted, the gauge is removed and the nozzle opening is revealed by correlating the etching of the black marker to the scale on the gage (1/4″ to 5/8″). Air consumption (CFM @ 100 psi) is also indicated.
Each NOG comes with a Certificate of Conformance at no additional cost!

Testex Press-O-Film Replica Tape – Legacy Roll
Testex replica tape is used in conjunction with an analog or digital spring-loaded micrometer for acquiring surface profile measurements according to Method C in ASTM D4417. The replica tape is rubbed onto the abrasive blast cleaned surface forming a reverse replica of the peak-valley pattern in the steel. The replica is quantified using a spring-loaded micrometer to determine the maximum peak-to-valley depth. Each roll of tape contains 50 pieces.
