This compact, lightweight, precisely balanced coating thickness gauge nondestructively measures the thickness of nonmagnetic coatings applied to ferrous substrates. Unique three-point contact design to prevent rocking the gauge during measurement acquisition. Go/no go button can be preset for rapid measurement. Tungsten carbide probe tip for long life and reliability. Rugged housing unaffected by mechanical shock, water, solvents or acids. Complete with leather case and wrist/neck lanyards. Accuracy is +/- 5%. Conforms to ASTM A153, B499, B530, D7091, E376; British Standard BS5411, Danish Standard DIN50981 & 50982; SSPC PA2

Testex Press-O-Film Replica Tape – Legacy Roll
Testex replica tape is used in conjunction with an analog or digital spring-loaded micrometer for acquiring surface profile measurements according to Method C in ASTM D4417. The replica tape is rubbed onto the abrasive blast cleaned surface forming a reverse replica of the peak-valley pattern in the steel. The replica is quantified using a spring-loaded micrometer to determine the maximum peak-to-valley depth. Each roll of tape contains 50 pieces.
