DeFelsko Certified Standards CAL-P1 (Certified Polystyrene Blocks)

Certified polystyrene blocks are essential for verifying the accuracy and function of coating thickness gauges, ensuring compliance with ISO and internal quality control standards.

Designed for precise gauge verification at the test site, before use, and periodically during operation, DeFelsko’s certified polystyrene standards provide measured values traceable to a National Metrology Institution.

These blocks are ideal for verifying Type 1 (mechanical) and Type 2 (electronic) magnetic, eddy-current, or ultrasonic coating thickness gauges, whether in calibration labs, the field, or on the factory floor.

Each set includes four polystyrene blocks housed in a durable acrylic box. All blocks are individually serialized for NIST or PTB traceability and include a Certificate of Calibration. Certified and labeled in both Metric and Imperial units. Zero Plates are also available for Certified Polystyrene Blocks.
