PosiTest PG Paint Inspection Gage

The PosiTest PG Paint Inspection Gage is a precision instrument designed to destructively measure the thickness of one or multiple layers of coating on virtually any substrate. Engineered with a rugged anodized aluminum housing and a rotating cutting tip holder capable of securing up to four tips, this gage ensures convenience and reliability in every application.

Equipped with a powerful 50x microscope featuring precision optics and a rotating measurement scale in both imperial and metric units, the PosiTest PG delivers accurate and repeatable results. The gage includes 1x, 2x, and 10x cutting tips (5x available) for measuring coatings up to 1,250 µm (50 mils), and its bright LED illumination, long battery life, and ergonomic design make it ideal for field and lab use alike.
