Hole Saw for Adhesion Testing

• Precise Test Area Isolation – Ideal for cutting or scoring through coatings or substrates to define a specific diameter test area.
• Recommended Use – A 14 mm, 20 mm, or 50 mm hole saw can be used to cut around the dolly (pull stub) to isolate the test area and remove excess adhesive.
• Strong Lateral Bonding Consideration – For coatings with high lateral adhesion, it is advised to cut completely through the coating down to the substrate.
• Concrete Repair & Overlay Testing (ASTM C1583) – Use a 50 mm diamond-impregnated hole saw to create a perpendicular cut at least 10 mm (0.5 inches) deep.
• Included Accessories – Depending on the model, a hole saw is included with each PosiTest Adhesion Tester or Conversion Kit (except ATA50T and AT50TKIT). A 14 mm hole saw is available for use with 14 mm dollies.
