Powder Comb Thickness Gauge

These small pocket-sized aluminum gauges are uniquely designed to measure the thickness of powder coatings after application but before they are cured. The gauge features sharp teeth that won’t cause plowing or spillover of the powder during measurement, and broad standoffs to help keep the gauge perpendicular to the surface during measurement. Each powder comb has been designed to be small enough to fit in a shirt pocket. Each gauge comes in a leather pouch. Six models are available for measuring different thicknesses: three models that measure in mils and three models that measure in micrometers (microns).  The ranges are:

Model 1 (mils): 3, 6, 9, 12 mil teeth

Model 2 (mils): 10, 15, 20, 25 mil teeth

Model 3 (mils): 20, 30, 40, 50 mil teeth

Model 4 (microns): 75, 150, 225, 300 micron teeth

Model 5 (microns): 250, 375, 500, 625 micron teeth

Model 6 (microns): 500, 750, 1000, 1250 micron teeth
