The Tinker-Rasor soil boxes are perfect for easily testing the resistivity of soil whether you are in the lab or in the field.  They are made of a strong resin making it able to withstand various stresses out in the field.  The clear material allows for easy cleaning and inspection of the samples.  There are two different options depending on your specific needs.

The SB-2 is made to conform to ASTM G57 and G187.  Its interior dimensions are 4 cm x 6 cm x 23.75 cm. Included with the SB-1 is:

• Soilbox
• 4 Brass Connectors
• 2 Banana Plug Leads (Red)
• 2 Banana Plug Leads (Black)

The SB-1 is made to conform to AASHTO T 288.    Its interior dimensions are 38 mm x 101.5 mm x152.3 mm.  Included with the SB-2 is:

• Soilbox
• 2 Electrode plates (ss)
• 2 Electrode Hardware (ss)
• 2 Leads with clamps
